If you’ve never visited DISNEYLAND® or the surrounding area attractions for Halloween, you simply must plan a visit to experience some of the many incredibly haunt-acular events held here this year. Fall is a perfect time to visit Southern California, and popular theme parks bring out their best holiday style, offering something spookily fabulous for every taste and interest. Here a few of our favorite annual Halloween events.

Halloween Time at Disneyland Park
September 6 to October 31, 2019, brings the very finest of both friendly and scary attractions to DISNEYLAND® Resort. Snap spooktacular photos with numerous classic and specialty characters dressed in full Halloween finery, including the Pumpkin King Jack Skellington and his dear friend Sally from Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas. And don’t forget to tour the DISNEYLAND® Main Street Pumpkin Festival, showcasing incredible seasonal displays and exclusive carved pumpkins that are frightfully delightful. 

Haunted Mansion Halloween Holiday
From September 6 to January 6, 2020, you can take a scarifying tour of the eerie Haunted Mansion estate’s ghoulish makeover – and meet some special holiday spirits along the way. Pumpkin King Jack Skellington decorates the Haunted Mansion with festive and frightful details from Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas. Experience many of your favorite classic sights, special seasonal surprises, and popular characters from the movie as they wish you “Season’s Screamings!”

Knott’s Berry Farm Halloween
On select nights from September 19th through November 2nd, 2019, Knott’s Scary Farm offers the largest, most haunting Halloween experience in the area, with incredible scares and state-of-the-art thrills found nowhere else. The theme park is fully transformed with distinctively haunted mazes, hair-raising attractions, spooky shows and over 1,000 monstrous creatures skulking in the fog and awaiting you around every corner of the park. This incredible Halloween event is a true nightmare come to life – and the perfect thing to do for an unforgettable experience.
